SCOUT GROUP 		West Lancashire County Badge

Welcome to the 2nd Kirkham Scout Group

We are a thriving Scout Group serving the area in and around the market town of Kirkham, located on the Fylde coast between Preston and Blackpool in West Lancashire. We have both boys and girls in our Group, which comprises a Beaver Scout Colony, Cub Scout Pack and a Scout Troop. We welcome young people from all faiths.

We partner the local Trogz Explorer Scout Unit and are keen supporters of Fylde District events.

We have our own, newly refurbished, Scout Hut.

We are always keen to welcome new Leaders to the Group. If you are interested in helping the Group in any way, please get in touch.

2009 Activities

  • Kirkham Town Council have sent a letter of thanks for the work by the Cubs and Scouts in tidying up the Kirkham Memorial Gardens
  • The Cubs completed the Air Activities badge and are now working on their Home Safety and Personal Safety badges
  • The Scouts took part in the Bowlander hiking skills competition
  • We have just held a very successful (and wet) Family Camp at Waddecar. Over 60 people - 20 families - took part.
  • The Beavers got soaked during the District Jamboree on the Trail at Fairhaven
